Frequently Asked Questions
The Philanthropist’s Dilemma
Q: How do you motivate donations to a cause that appears to make a “profit”?
A: What may look like profit is, in reality, reinvested to achieve goals that are essential to the sustainability, growth, and expanded reach of our programme.
Here’s how those funds are used:
- Continuous Programme Development
Our range of educational kits is expanding every week, with a planned outreach of 150 different project items. This level of growth requires ongoing research, testing, and development. - Content Research & Educational Integrity
We employ content researchers to support the programme’s evolution. Our core management team and original system creator oversee the entire process, leaving limited time for deep research.
Developing 150 kits across three levels of sophistication, spanning subjects such as electronics, aerodynamics, meteorology, navigation, airport systems, and more, requires detailed analysis to ensure optimal learning outcomes for our students. - Operational Overheads
Like any organisation, we have necessary operating costs that must be covered to function effectively and responsibly. - Fair Compensation
Our team members cannot work for free. They have families, vehicles, and financial responsibilities just like everyone else. - Legal & Financial Accountability
We operate fully within the legislative framework of the Revenue Service. This ensures transparency, compliance, and accountability.
Our financial records are open to donor scrutiny, and donors may choose the level of reporting and feedback they wish to receive, based on personal or organisational preference. - A Truly Unique Donor Model
We are completely unique in our ability to:- Tailor donor preferences regarding who, where, and how funds are utilised
- Provide personalised feedback on every student supported
Nobody else does this. Period.
- Expanding Our Reach
We are committed to increasing access to our programme for more children in every area we can reach. This requires time, effort, travel, and hands-on motivation from our programme management and founder.
All of this cost’s money quite simply.
